FAST TRACK EXPERIENCED GROOMERS AIM Level 3 Diploma In Dog Grooming

As a fast track option:
The fast track option is for anyone who is currently grooming but has no formal qualifications, has a level 2 qualification, or those wishing to take an alternative route.Once you have enrolled on the qualification, we can arrange a mutually convenient date and you can come to me in Outwell. On this day I will then assess you on three of your 15 styles. These can be any three dog breeds that you chose. Once you have completed your initial day with me, we can start to build a portfolio of the remaining grooms that you have completed in your salon. Evidence is required in the form of photographs and videos. You have an 12 months to complete this.
The final unit of the qualification is to complete one of our accredited first aid courses at my acacdemy in outwell.
Fast track option for this qualification is £1500.00.
This will include a full course pack, all of your assessment fees, and a day with you in person to take you through the qualification and assess your three breeds, full support from me as you go through the qualification, your AIM Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming certificate. The only part that is not included in the price is our expenses if you would like us to do your initial day in your own salon. If you come to us there is no extra cost.

The AIM Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming is one of the dog grooming industry’s leading qualifications. The course content is flexible enough to meet most learner’s needs to gain the knowledge and ability to groom and style dogs. The course includes knowledge of different types of equipment, it’s uses, application and maintenance. Students will learn about good canine health in the salon, how to handle various scenarios and gain a good knowledge of Canine First Aid.

Practical Learning Hours: 330 hours
Theoretical Learning Hours: 70 hours
Total Qualification Time: 400 hours
Course Content
Within this qualification, students will groom and style a minimum of 10 different breeds of dogs, creating at least 15 different styles – all of which are recorded for reference. Students will gain the knowledge of uses of different items of grooming equipment and the skills required to correctly apply it to style dogs. All students on course will gain knowledge of management and communication within a dog grooming salon.
Students on this course will gain a thorough knowledge of Canine First Aid and understanding of dog wellbeing and health requirements in the salon. Combined, this will give a good knowledge and understanding of how to approach a range of scenarios that may be presented in a dog grooming salon, either daily or on an exceptional occasion.
